Raiders’ 16 touchdown passes threaten fragile Jets protection
October 31, 2026 · 11:02 AM
A four-game Raiders skid meets a Jets team ranked higher by DYMA despite its 2-5 record.
Las Vegas is 3-4 and seeded 10th, while New York is 2-5 and 11th; Sunday offers both a chance to stop a slide and gain ground. The Raiders have lost four straight, the Jets two, but DYMA’s power index ranks New York 22nd and Las Vegas 25th. Kirk Cousins has thrown for 1,877 yards and 16 touchdowns, while Geno Smith has 1,623 yards, 10 touchdown passes and just two interceptions; the Raiders have also kicked 17 field goals in seven games. New York’s protection is the hinge: the Jets have allowed 21 sacks, compared with 10 by Las Vegas, and their defense has recorded 19 sacks to the Raiders’ 16.
