Vikings, Hurricanes Keep Power Index Crowns as Top 12s Hold

There were no risers or fallers in either league’s top 12: every team held its previous rank. Minnesota stayed atop the NFL at No. 1 with a 94 Power Index score, 4.9 points ahead of the 49ers at 89.1. Carolina likewise retained the NHL’s top spot at 94, ahead of the Wild’s 88.9. Boston’s 5-4 win over Chicago couldn’t move the Bruins from No. 4, while the Blackhawks remain outside the listed top 12.
