San Antonio’s rim protection meets a winless Sacramento team giving up 124 points per game.
San Antonio is 1-2 and 17th in the power index, while Sacramento is 0-3, ranked 29th and allowing 124 points per game. The Spurs are also looking to break through at home after starting 0-2 there, while the Kings seek their first win of the season. The key matchup is inside: Victor Wembanyama has 12 blocks in three games, while Domantas Sabonis has piled up 52 rebounds and 21 assists for Sacramento. If Sabonis can turn his rebounding and playmaking into efficient offense, the Kings can test San Antonio’s defense; if Wembanyama controls the paint, Sacramento’s scoring burden grows.
