Oklahoma City’s perfect home record meets Washington’s high-powered offense, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Trae Young shaping the matchup.
Saturday’s meeting puts Oklahoma City’s 7-2 start and 4-0 home record against a Washington team that enters at 4-5. The Thunder rank 10th in the power index, nine places ahead of the 19th-ranked Wizards. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has scored 269 points in nine games, while Trae Young has handed out 86 assists for Washington. The key is whether Oklahoma City can disrupt Young’s playmaking without losing its own offensive edge: the Thunder average 112 points per game, and the Wizards average 111.4.
