San Francisco takes a 14-12 halftime lead despite Atlanta’s nine-point second quarter.
Christian McCaffrey and Kaelon Black each punched in a touchdown as the unbeaten 49ers built a 14-3 lead. Atlanta answered with nine points in the second quarter, including Michael Penix Jr.’s touchdown connection with Nick Muse, to pull within two at the break. San Francisco has the yardage edge, 188-144, and has gained 105 yards on the ground, but a lost fumble gave the Falcons an opening. After halftime, watch whether Atlanta can slow the 49ers’ rushing attack and turn its comeback push into points while San Francisco protects the ball.
