Vikings, Hurricanes Keep No. 1 as Both Indexes Freeze

No teams rose or fell in the NFL top 12: the Vikings remain No. 1 at 94, ahead of the 49ers at 89.1. The NHL board was just as still, with the Hurricanes holding No. 1 at 94 and the Wild second at 89. New Jersey beat Vegas 5-2, Florida beat Winnipeg 5-2 and Calgary beat Seattle 6-2, but none of the three winners changed position in the index. The Devils sit sixth, the Panthers 11th and the Flames outside the top 12.
